Mr. Truedough, take a long look at the abysmal track record held by KM. Spills that weren’t attended to for days. Lying about the volume of oil spilled. Unashamedly reaching out for taxpayer’s money to clean up their mess, while simultaniously increasing CEO salaries. If Mr. Trudeau fully believes in his own program, why won’t he release the KM reports?? We are still waiting for the environmental reports that were never done…how can you slam something this big through without public consultation, transparency in regards to the KM reports, and first nations consultation? It seems that you are trying to do something huge without the support of most of your country simply because you tried to circumvent all the processes that were required by the CANADIAN people…remember us? your constituents?? Canadians need transparency and accountability from our governments. It is time the Liberal government was honest with canadians about the actual processes behind the Kinder Morgan pipeline. And they must release the cabinet records immediately.

It’s been many years since I stood on a protest and risked arrest, but be assured that’s where I’ll be, if he follows through with such threats and intimidation. The court’s recent move from civil to criminal charges for this only raises the value of such protest.

Mr. Prime Minister and , you and your Cabinet must release the Kinder Morgan records you have squirreled away. Like it or not, the people of Canada should know about those secret discussions and records. You promised the people of Canada transparency and honesty. You cannot just simply ignore your own campaign promises and decisions that affect the people of Canada related to the Kinder Morgan pipeline, and pretend they don’t exist. Like it or not you must release those K.M. records if you want to earn back the trust you once had with the people of Canada, in the first place.

In the name of honesty and the transparency you promised, release all secret documents regarding the pipeline. Take the right step, the honourable step, so we can begin to hope in your government once again.

If he is doing all this to favour and keep Alberta, why not turn the oil area into an industrial zone to make ecologically safe devices such as wind turbos and solar panels.
China has done this and is now leading the market for these devices. Why not create things Made in Canada by Oil Workers in need of jobs? Or take some of the jobs down East – where many of the workers come from. It is a win-win situation.

Canadians need to know how these decisions are made and whose interests they serve. Leave the sludge in the ground and get about the business of renewal. We have already lost so much.
