I lived in Alberta for awhile, I came back to BC fast, Alberta is not for me, there is no trees, no ocean, no rain, Alberta people want BC to look like Alberta, well not without a fight, the kinder Morgan project is a disaster waiting to happen, please people fight back, Thank you

a few points to throw around …
1/ Trudeau when campaigning said it makes sense to refine it in the Prairies – Why doesn’t it make sense now!
2/ and there is CLEARLY demand for OUR oil in the west coast and N. America (US and Mexico) …
… if it is TOO dirty for them, why is it NOT TOO DIRTY for our pristine Coastal Waters!!
3/ Over 2 Billion ++ to build THIS NEW Pipeline this could go a long way to helping cut the cost of Electric Cars, and the infrastructure to make them more practical … it costs less than $10 for a “FILL UP”

I signed because I stand by the natives in spirit and solidarity. Against this injustice and disregard for nature and sacred land.

If we are serious about responding to the threat of rapid climate change – in order to mitigate much worse future economic harm and social disruption – and also to protect fresh and ocean waters, then we absolutely need to stop further expansion of tar sand production, which is what this proposed tripling of pipeline capacity seeks to facilitate. Even if some portion of bitumen is diverted from rail transport by the new pipeline, it will only be temporary until continuing increases in levels of production requires additional rail transport and another pipeline is built using the same disingenuous pretext of environmental safety. And under both bitumen transport scenarios to tidewater there is a perpetual risk of a coastal spill disaster – not a smart or sane strategy.
