Hi. I was born in Canada. I’ve never lived elsewhere. I give about $100/month to stop TMX etc! To stop YOU and Harper’s cronies, ALL of John A MacDonald’s lackeys! Lol. I’m probably foreign backed if you listen to you. You DO listen to you more than any other reasonable thing.

I have been opposed to this project for many years. We need to “Keep it in the Ground” and the only way you wouldn’t know that if by voluntarily ignoring the evidence. My private donations have been my vote in this matter. Others like me have invested time and savings into this cause, BECAUSE IT IS CRITICALLY IMPORTANT THAT WE SHIFT AWAY FROM FOSSIL FUELS. Building infrastructure to facilitate the distribution of something we MUST avoid relying on, is counter productive. The same effort applied to renewable resources/ green technology development is what we need and must do. We have the means, if we work towards a common goal, to minimize the impacts of our careless actions over the last century. Otherwise, we’re just apes running a lab to the ground… we will crash like so many civilizations before us.

Jason, sweetheart: The fuss you’re kicking up makes a person think that you must have lost the election, instead of won it, and that the daily newspapers and television stations, and big money weren’t all on your side. For some reason you feel you have to invent a big, bad, scary enemy that is keeping you from serving up the contamination of land and water, the damaging of health, and the climate disaster which is so profitable for a few big investors and companies. There is no big bad foreign-finance threat to you, honey, unless you’re referring to the big money interests who don’t care if the forests burn, the glaciers melt, and the oceans die. There are only people like me, who want to stop the disaster that’s in progress now. Now, in a way it’s flattering that you seem to think I’m such a formidable threat to you and the powerful interests your represent, but honestly this just smells of political theatre of the extremely base variety you have become known for. So, inquire away! I’m extremely willing to show up for a public hearing at any time and answer questions about who finances me. The answer is “me”. Not the answer you’re looking for? Too bad. But it’s the only real answer. And thanks for helping remind me to donate to the fight against Trans Mountain Expansion!

As a responsible Canadian (BC) citizen, I feel duty-bound to keep informed & do my part re. Govt. decisions that affect our environment/ future/ health etc.

As such I must ask that you refrain from wasting tax dollars on a bogus investigation into those opposed to the TMX pipeline/ tar sands expansion, as if such opposition is somehow unlawful or wrong!?


What iS WRONG = carrying out a campaign to vilify law-abiding citizens exercising their rights to expose & oppose questionable Govt. decisions – in particular, ones that demonstrate egregious indifference to the very people whose best interests you are honor-bound to protect:

Your disgraceful support of corporate polluting [fossil-fuel] interests over the wellbeing of ordinary citizens is what needs to be questioned, along with your refusal to conduct in good faith your due diligence vis-a-vis that industry’s known harms..


(Everyone – even the industry shills to which you pander -knows the AB oilsands are a foreign-funded testament to eco-damage on a colossal scale: why make it worse while disdaining good BCers trying to protect their basic livelihoods? Yo Kenney, you shmuck. I’m Australian and I will fight tooth and nail to see you fail, GLOBAL momentum is building against idiot dinosaur lack of thinking, foresight, basic common sense, morals and leadership like yours. The pipeline WILL NEVER BE BUILT.

I donate to organizations that are trying to change Canada’s poor response to our climate emergency. I donate to groups who are trying to speak up for the people of Burnaby threated by a dangerous tank farm and the indigenous people who are directly effected by expansion of Transmountain. I donate to groups trying to protect our marine ecosystems. I help create banners, I help with rallys I stand of to the RCMP protecting corporate interests. I receive nothing for my efforts except the satifaction of knowing at least I am trying to create a better, cleaner more hopeful world for future generations. Your motivations are more suspect.

Mr. Premier Kenny I am a Tsimshian grassroots Indigenous woman and I love our Indigenous coastal waters and all that lives in and depends on it being healthy. Tsimshian grassroots united with our neighbouring grassroots elders, children and members to stop Enbridge and we will do it again. You are contributing to the hell of fires, floods and drought with your quest for burning more fossil fuels instead of transitioning, producing remediation and renewable jobs and a sustainable economy. Only a weak leader would string his constituents along prolonging the inevitable. The world is cleaning up their act and so should you. No one wants Canada’s dirty crude or fracked gas. We have a gorgeous coastline that brings millions of dollars per year in tourism to our beautiful province. The marine life in our local waters bring phenomenal scenic underwater visions as well as incredible shoreline vistas which leaves you with an astounding sense of dumbstruck and awe. We as BRITISH COLUMBIANS will not stand by and be intimidated by your RHETORIC. Try cleaning up years of the abandoned oil rigs and waste in your province and move forward in the FIGHT FOR CLEAN ENERGY !!!

I’m an old lady, a quilter, and an activist. Mr Kenney, I just want you to know that I am an ordinary person who is drastically opposed to the TransMountain Pipeline and the expansion of the Tar Sands.

So, please put me on your list of people who donate money to groups that you disapprove of because they are concerned about the climate emergency and the rights of the BC First Nations who are jeopardized by the TM expansion.

We need to put our dependence on fossil fuels behind us and seek a cleaner energy strategy for Canada. Now. My co-housing project and many other homes in my community are going solar, the proliferation of electric cars in British Columbia. We are ordinary Canadians that give money freely to organizations that support our beliefs in a different future. These organizations lobby for us. I am part of something, of many groups, including First Nations, that will continue to fight for what we need to preserve, our land, our oceans, our planet.

I strongly oppose to the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project. We are in a time of climate emergency, it’s time you act like it. So who is fighting against this atomic bomb that will destroy the ocean and land? Me. But not I’m not alone… I stand amongst thousands, millions of us, ready to fight against this… for our future, your future.

We are donating to take action to stop the trans Mountain Pipeline to fight climate change. It’s time get out of the oil and into renewable energy. The pipeline is a waist of tax payer money. The government need to work for the people not big greedy corporation.

Yes, I oppose TMX. I am a 75-year-old woman on a not very large income who cares about the life on this planet: the trees, the water, the animals, and of course our grandchildren. I am not a foreign magnate. I am not a well-funded non-profit. And yes, I send money to those I think are best able to fight this climate crisis. I will continue to do that. Count on it. I care, too, about Albertans and the need for transition jobs as we phase out our dependence on fossil fuels. Count on that, too.

You said you wanted to know who funds the opposition to the TransMountain pipeline. I’ll come clean because it’s not a secret: I’m one of the thousands of citizens who made a donation to that effect, because this initiative goes against everything that the Canadian government vowed to do in the Paris Accord. Is the funding for the campaigns that support the pipeline as transparent and in line with these promises?

I’m one of many many Canadians who support the Coast Protectors in their determination to stop the pipeline that will not help but only hurt BC. Maybe you should turn your inquiry toward those foreign groups that are funnelling money into the pro-pipeline groups.

Dear Jason Kenney, I live on Burnaby Mountain an 8 minute drive from the tank farm. A year ago, aware that I live on the unceded territory of the Tsleil Wau Tuth, Musqueam, and Squamish Nations I decided to stand with them to protect the land, air and water so that all of our children and grandchildren, yours as well, may have a future where they can breathe, drink water, and live in a beautifully natural country. No one funded me. I made a decision based on conscience and I don’t regret that. Please, in the name of all our children and grandchildren respect UNDRIP and respect the title and rights of the Tsleil Wau Tuth, Musqueam, and Squamish Nations.

I am totally opposed to the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion. It will release toxic bitumen into the environment and threaten Orcas and other marine life off of the British Columbia coast. Furthermore, it will result in the destruction of the boreal forest and threaten the lives of Indigenous peoples living south of the oilsands on the Athabasca River. You are working against the people of Canada and against the urgent fight to end the climate crisis.

You care nothing for your country, your fellow Canadians, the environment God gave to us in trust, or for God Himself; your only cares are for the fossil fuel industry, big business, power, profit. This country needs moral, intelligent leadership, the kind that pray, look ahead and do what is correct with the future in mind. You possess no leadership qualities, just dictatorship qualities, and are an affront to every Person who fought for our rights and Freedoms. You are an affront to decency itself.

Dear Premier Kenney, I oppose the Trans Mountain purchase made by the federal government without consultation with the taxpayors of this country. I oppose the building of the pipeline to move Alberta’s dirty oil to the BC coast. In this Climate emergency the Tar Sands should be closed, it is proven contributor to the current climate change in Canada. Maybe Alberta should implement a provincial sales tax and quit crying.
