I definitely want leaders that stand for, and protect, the rights of all people. The leaders we have in place, from the prime minister on down are weak and so used to colonialistic practices that they don’t see the error of their ways. Get a new person for the RCMP as soon as possible. I am embarrassed nd angered by the “leadership” that is in place now.

When the Prime Minister doesn’t stand for reconciliation and clearly neither do the RCMP, we need people that stand for rights of ALL people. I feel unprotected as a person of colour and demand people be in charge who can protect all people. As a future educator constantly learning about reconciliation, I am confused as to why our leaders show no interest in that.

This country doesn’t need the RCMP. Instead, we need a national Bear Clan Patrol, like the community-based indigenous group in Winnipeg who provide effective protection, security and justice for the people.

Losing more respect every day for the RCMP, and our Prime Minister. Suspect RCMP failure in the Scotia massacre in Spring. Now outright evidence of same with not protecting the Indidenous fishermen.

I am a human rights activist that believes the laws of the land should be upheld even amonst treaties. Her failing to do so amongst even her personnel shows lack of leadership that is required from an organization that has been caught with inner scandal, sexual assault/ harrassment claims, assault, bullying and racial bias amongst members. Its time for a change.

Brenda Lucki MUST be removed from her position. She is biased, incompetent, ignorant of the issues and completely the wrong person for the job.

Totally inept handling of this crisis by the RCMP and its leadership.
